What is Xshell?
Xshell is a replacement for the Windows Explorer shell designed for Media Center/Home Theater PCs.

What does it do?
Not much. Xshell is designed to replace explorer.exe as the default start-up application; it executes a sequence of tasks based on the available plugins and XML directive file. Example XML Configuration File is the file I currently use on my HTPC; it automatically loads XBMC for the HTPC user while maintaining the Explorer shell for my Admin account.
